The Certified Safe Patient Handling Professionals™ is the Professional Certification and independent credentialing body in affiliation with the Association of Safe Patient Handling Professionals, Inc. (ASPHP). We encourage and enable individuals within a wide-variety of professions such as healthcare, risk-insurers, academia, safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and safe patient handling and mobility (SPHM) technology manufacturers, to obtain the expertise and credentials necessary to promote the practice of SPHM. We seek to improve the safety of healthcare providers and recipients by advancing the science and practice of SPHM as a necessary component of public health and safety across the continuum of care.
